  I've been so busy that I never got around to scanning my life drawings from last week...so I scanned them today with the life drawings from yesterday...so here they are.:)

Rossmo Comic Page

To incorporate the styles that are inspirational to you, it can be a fun exercise to mimic one of your influence's style and/or characters in a piece. An artist that really inspires me is Riley Rossmo, whose work includes that on the comic series Cowboy Ninja Viking, Proof and Green Wake among othrs. I picked up on his work in Green Wake so I made a page based on that comic.

Here are my life drawings from last Friday:

But I got the chance to focus on my friend's hands while he was talking on the phone and I couldn't get away from how expressive they were...

...so I drew more hands...

Now I'm also trying to do 3 photoshop drawings of film stills a week...it will help my composition, storytelling and photoshop skills. So here  is a quick sketch of one from the first part of the week...its from the movie, "Psycho".
