Edo Centaur

Day 8 entails drawing a Centaur. I found out that in the Japanese Edo period, they drew centaurs as horses with human heads instead of with the torsos, which I thought I'd experiment with. A picture of one of their centaurs is below.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog! More monsters to come!

This is my first official post with a monster that I designed in the Japanese Edo style. Cool, right? This one is a Harpy from Day 7 of my monster list.
Feel free to comment and let me know what you think. Have a great evening! Thanks for checking out my work.

Monsters Past and Present

Hey everybody! Hope you're having a wonderful Fall season. It's hands down my favorite time of year.  Anyways, I lost track of my monster posts and I'm picking them up again. The posts from the past are now scanned in and lovely, so here they are:
-Day 1: Zombie
-Day 2: Mummy Mommy

-Day 3: Vampire Bat Kitty
-Day 4: Werewolf Baby
-Day 5: Ghost

-Day 6: Siren

I will be picking this project up again this week. Only now I will be designing the monsters with a Japanese Edo style. More to be uploaded soon! Have a wonderful evening!
